Willow Smith is basically untouchable. Thanks to her bubbly, effusive personality, undeniable talent and the indefatigable efforts of her marketing team, she’s primed to dominate the airwaves for the next decade or so. But we have to ask—is she going to continue to dress like that?

Smith, who listed Billy Idol as one of her fashion influences in a recent interview, showed up at the 2011 Grammy Awards in yet another eye-catching ensemble. For this event, the pint-sized pop star tied bright yellow and tangerine shoelaces in her hair, threw a gold lamé cape on over her brown velvet pants, slipped on a pair of platform sneakers and called it a day.
